Pressure

Aaaaaaaahhhh! I.can't.take.the.pressure. There are so many new blogs to read! And.I.can't.find.the.time. Aaaaaaaaahhh! I've had some new traffic to my site. Which rocks. Completely. I want to reciprocate. But I'm finding myself worn thin. I can barely read the blogs that I stalk regularly. I can barely keep up with the reading I need to do for my classes. Plus the books I'm reading just for pleasure. And now all of these cool new blogs!!! Aaaaaaaahhhh!! All of you new visitors who have commented, I'll get 'round your way. You are a tease, sitting there in my comments, with that come hither stare. Don't you know how weak I am? You make me feel like my head will explode. Like I have.to.have.it.now. - or I'll die.

How do you find the time?? It seems like it should be pretty easy to figure out. I mean, I don't work full-time (other than working full-time at raising kids). But I already feel like I spend too much time in front of the computer. I guess I'm not good at organizing my time.

So, I ask you all....how do you make the rounds? How do you hit so many blogs and comment? My dear, bloggy babies. I want to cuddle you all!!

I feel the same way. I'm home all day, without kids here even, and I can't seem to get everything done that I want to/need to.

I just stick to my daily routine and save the surfing around for days when I get a bigger chunk of time (like Saturdays or between loads of laundry).

Lately I've been trying to keep myself disciplined and I'm almost able to say that with a straight face. No, really, I go and accomplish something unfun, like cleaning the bathroom, then I get some computer time. Then I go fold a load of laundry, then more computer time. Or something like that. It seems to help keep me going and not stagnate in front of the monitor all day.

Speaking of which, I'd better start the dryer. 'Later.

I know girl, I'm having a hard time finding balance. I've already spent an hour catching up on blogs and I'm only halfway down my blogroll. I often think about giving up this blogging business because it takes up so much of my time but I just can't. I've made a connection with so many other great people (like you) and I can't give it up.

Somedays I read all the blogs and have time for more and then others I feel like I'm missing so much because I have no time to go hit my regulars. I surf a little at work, a lot at home and it consumes way to much of my time. I don't read any real news anymore. I'm to busy reading blogs.
