We have two small flower beds on either side of our front door.
And this "little" guy has been hanging out near the Calla Lillies and the front of the house.
Rav absolutely hates spiders.
I'm not really a fan of them either.
But they serve a purpose and I can't bear to bring this guy to a brutal end.
I'll let him hang out as long as he sees fit and take care of the pesky mosquitos.
Everytime Gracie sees him, she exlcaims Look! See him?!?! See the ginormous spider?!?!
9 ripples in the pond:
That is a HUGE spider.
When we first moved to this house, a big (not that big) spider built a web in a bush near our deck. My husband adopted it as a pet and used to toss bugs to it. It was fascinating to watch it work, wrapping up the prey for later.
holy effin crapshit!!!!! That thing is HUGE!!!!
I'm with Rav on this one. Run, Tabba, run for the hills - that is one scary spider.
Um, I'm not sure that's a spider. I think it's a MONSTER. Run, Tabba, run!
In all seriousness, though, it's pretty. I'm glad you're letting it stay.
I am terrified of spiders but I am trying to co-exist peacefully with them. They make me sweat though.
We had one like that at our old house. We called her Brenda and tried not to disturb her... :)
SHUDDER. What on earth kind of spider is that, anyway?
Uuuugh. I'm with Rav, too.
i always think of the spider's family waiting for him at home and then i resist the urge to smoosh them.
I'm not a fan of spiders. They don't have enough meat on them to make a good snack. Locusts are preferable.
